Hi, I’m Tracey Portillo—raised right here in Virginia, a proud Monacan Chief and University of Richmond Spider, and someone who was a good neighbor long before I ever became a State Farm agent.

Fall has always been one of my favorite times of year. Back in high school, you could find me on the football field—not just cheering in the stands, but right in the action as part of the marching band. To this day, I still love Friday night lights, Saturday college football, and watching the leaves change across our beautiful state. The rhythm of the season reminds me how important it is to show up for each other and celebrate community—something that carries into everything I do at Tracey Portillo State Farm.

Since opening my agency in 2018, my mission has remained the same: to serve our community with kindness, integrity, and a personalized approach to insurance. I believe insurance should be empowering—not overwhelming—and that starts with education. My team and I take the time to understand your priorities, explain your options clearly, and help you make confident decisions for your future.

We proudly serve individuals and families all over Virginia and in our backyard...Henrico, Midlothian, Chesterfield, Ashland, Goochland, Tuckahoe, and surrounding communities. Our multilingual team—fluent in English, and Spanish—is passionate about making insurance accessible, supportive, and easy to understand. We offer a full range of options, including Auto, Home, Renters, Condo, Life, Motorcycle, and Pet Insurance, as well as personal liability and business insurance.

Outside the office, I love spending time with my husband of over 20 years, our three kids, and our three sweet dogs—usually somewhere outdoors enjoying the crisp Virginia air. Community service is also a huge part of who I am. My son is an Eagle Scout, and I spent 11 years as a proud Scouter—now serving as District Chair for the Huguenot Trail District. Scouting shaped my life and the life of my family, and it’s a big part of why I’m passionate about building strong communities. That’s also why we proudly support organizations like Housing Families First, Treats for Troops, and Feed More—each doing meaningful work to support families, service members, and neighbors in need.
